Job Overview

An onsite, full-time position offering between $29.00 and $31.25 per hour. As a Guest Relations Officer, you’ll provide first-class reception services to Morgan Stanley clients and visitors, ensuring a seamless, welcoming experience. You’ll be stationed at 2000 Westchester Avenue, Purchase, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and guests with warmth upon arrival.
  • Greet VIPs following high hospitality standards.
  • Manage check-ins for groups, guests, and employees.
  • Utilize the Corporate Services FAQs to address queries about building renovations, Manhattan area, etc.
  • Register visitors through the company system to issue visitor passes.
  • Verify and update guest arrival lists to ensure accuracy.
  • Escort guests when necessary.
  • Interface professionally in person, via phone, and email.
  • Maintain top-tier service during both peak and off-peak periods.
  • Be knowledgeable about local attractions and services around New York City.
  • Ensure the lobby desk area is neat and professional.
  • Follow safety, security, and fire protocols diligently.
  • Adapt to additional duties as necessary within a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for extended periods; may include outdoor duty.
  • Professional, polished demeanor—projecting a five-star image daily.
  • Prior experience in hospitality (hotel or corporate front of house).
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in high-stress situations.
  • Excellent oral communication and listening skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office tech.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellence.
  • High discretion and confidentiality.
  • 3–5 years of customer-facing experience in hospitality or corporate service.
  • Flexible and willing to support conference operations at Morgan Stanley.
