The Associate Manufacturing Engineer will support manufacturing operations by managing documentation, assisting with equipment and process troubleshooting, and leading improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft and oversee equipment/facility change controls, CAPA action plans, BOMs, SOPs, and Manufacturing Batch Records (MBRs)
- Provide process and equipment troubleshooting support; aid in project validation
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Develop and deliver training materials for teams in collaboration with technical training staff
- Support shift operations, tech transfers, and cross-functional teams
- Uphold safety protocols and proactively flag unsafe conditions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s in science, engineering, biochemistry, or related discipline (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in biologics manufacturing with strong knowledge of SOPs, GMPs, and biopharmaceutical processes
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Visio, Project)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges within a regulated environment
- Flexible schedule—must support off-hours, weekends, holidays as needed
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based, with occasional responsibilities in a classified GMP manufacturing environment
- Occasional physical activities: repetitive computer work, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping
- Travel requirement: under 5%
Compensation & Location
- Salary: $60,000 – $88,000 per year
- Location: East Syracuse (Syracuse), NY
- Additional: Target bonus of 8%
