Compensation: $1,275 per week (Seasonal, full-time)

Role Overview

The Company Manager serves as a key contact between company members and administrative teams and ensures smooth operations throughout rehearsals, performances, and special events. This in-season, seasonal role reports to the General Management department and supports multiple productions from August 2025 through mid-July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communications among artists, management, production personnel
  • Draft and administer performer contracts; coordinate with Associate GM
  • Oversee ticketing and house seat requests, collaborating with Box Office & Marketing
  • Process weekly payroll, union reports, and manage company budget
  • Provide on-site coverage for rehearsals/events, including nights, weekends & holidays
  • Organize reception events, opening nights, and special activities
  • Procure and distribute opening-night gifts
  • Advise staff and artists on Signature Theatre policies
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as directed by senior management

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience as a Company Manager or in General Management office
  • Familiarity with Off-Broadway operations and theatrical unions (AEA, SDC, USA, Local 802) preferred
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and administrative skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Collaborative mindset with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Tessitura experience is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm and resourceful in fast-paced environments
  • Sense of humor, enthusiasm for theater, and ability to thrive on-site evening/weekends/holidays
