Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and document any issues
- Conduct pat-down searches and ensure secure handling of individuals during transport
- Operate vehicles safely and legally, adhering to federal, state, and company regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license; must meet any certification requirements
- Armed Security Guard License (California BSIS) with 40-caliber or 9mm endorsement
- U.S. citizenship
- Minimum age: 21 with at least two years of driving experience (per DOT regulations)
- Three years of relevant experience in law enforcement, military police, or correctional-related security
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, report writing, active listening, conflict mediation, and critical decision-making
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Multilingual abilities (reading, writing, speaking)
- Active federal security clearance
